We've had so much fun this summer with our playgroup! This week we went to the Miller Park Zoo. The kids loved seeing all the animals and just love being around each other. This might have been one of the last playdates that we are able to go to this year. I start babysitting next week and I'm not sure how much I'll venture out with all the kiddos. I'll have to see how things go once we get started.

Summer is almost over :-(

Joe took the pool down this weekend, so I guess that means summer is almost over..... bummer :-( Tyler had so much fun playing in the water that was left in it as Joe put everything away.

Happy Birthday Grandpa D.!

Sunday we had a cookout and birthday party for Grandpa DeVary. The kids all had fun riding in the wagon down the hill in the backyard.

The Fair

Saturday we went out to the Fair with Grandma and Grandpa Heater. Tyler had so much fun looking at all the animals and rode on a few rides. I'm sure next year he'll be a little braver and love to ride on more :-)

Miller Park Zoo

Last week we went to the Miller Park Zoo with Rachel, Brady and Natalie. We had great weather...not too hot...and all the animals were out and about. After, we headed to McD's for lunch and the boys played some more in the play area. Fun day!!

Tyler likes to put on his tool belt and call himself a "worker guy" and fix up all kinds of stuff around the house.

Indianapolis Zoo

This past Saturday we meet my brother and his family at the Indianapolis Zoo. It was really hot, but we still had a great time! Tyler had so much fun running around with his cousins. We brought Ralph, Noah, and Veronica home with us to stay with Grandma for the week.

Fun Run

On Friday nights we take Tyler out to the "Fun Run for Kids" at the track at Central Catholic. He gets a number to wear and they run them in heats according to their age. Tyler's age runs half-way around the track. The first week that we did it we put him in the group with the 3 year olds who run all the way around the track and he was exhausted! So, from now on he runs with the 1-2 year olds half-way around the track. Joe runs with him and he loves when he comes around the turn and we all cheer and wave at him. He's so cute....he smiles and starts running really fast to show off!! He gets a ribbon each week and cookies and juice when he's done. It a fun thing that we look forward to doing with him every Friday:-)

This week we had our playday at our house in the backyard. The kids played in the pool, sandbox, and we brought out all the trucks and cars to play with. They all had a good time :-)

Joe was washing the car this weekend, and of course Tyler had to get in on the action. He decided his car needed to be washed also. Doesn't he have a nice ride?!
