Christmas

We started our Christmas on Christmas Eve morning at our house. Joe and I opened our gifts to each other and we gave the kids our gifts. We figured Tyler could play with these gifts all day and enjoy them before he got more.
Here's Tyler playing his new Diego Dinosaur Rescue Wii game. He's really good at it!!

Here's Kaylee with her new blankie friend she loves! Tyler picked this out for her all by himself.

Christmas Eve evening, we headed to church. Here's the kiddos all dressed and looking good for church.

After church we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma DeVary's house with the whole family. We had dinner and opened presents. The adults had a gift exchange and everyone bought gifts for the kids. We got lots of good stuff!

All the little ones waiting patiently to open the presents.

When we got home that night, Tyler fixed Santa some bunny milk (strawberry milk), chocolate chip cookies, and some carrots for the reindeer.

Santa was very good to Tyler this year. I think he got everything he asked for and more :)

After we did Santa gifts and things on Christmas morning, Tyler's Grandma and Grandpa Heater came over for breakfast and we opened their gifts. One of his favorite gifts from them were these Diego roller skates. He's getting pretty good!

After naps, we headed over to my Mom and Dad's for dinner and more presents. Kaylee was in the best mood while we were there. She got pretty wild hollering and kicking in her bouncy seat. Here she is as happy as can be amongst all her presents.
Tyler was very excited to get this Wonderpets Schoolhouse.

She's a happy little girl :)

Bring on the cereal!!

We're just counting down the days until Christmas now! Tyler asks everyday...how many days left today, mom? We've been busy finishing up our Christmas shopping, and wrapping gifts. Tyler's been keeping busy lately making all kinds of Christmas crafts. He's been a "painting fool" (as he likes to call himself....mmm..wonder who taught him that?) Kaylee loves to just watch every move Tyler makes during the day. He's great entertainment to her! We starting giving her some rice cereal last week. So far she loves it :-) We'll post more later.
Merry Christmas!!!

We had to take a break from shopping and ride the train in the mall.

Looking full and happy!!

The First Snow

Today we woke up to see snow on the ground! Tyler was so excited...he wanted to go out and play in it right away. I had to run to Walmart and get him some new snow pants first. As you can see from the pictures, by the time we got outside most of the snow had already melted away.
Oh well...he had fun anyways :-)

All bundled up and ready to go!

Grandpa was here and went out to play in the snow with Tyler

Here they are making some mini snowmen

HO, HO, HO

Today we went to visit Santa at SF. Tyler was soooo excited. He had been practicing what he was going to tell Santa so he wouldn't forget to tell him anything that he really wanted for Christmas. He jumped right up on Santa's lap and starting talking. We had to hurry him along because there was a long line behind us and he was just talking away to Santa. As we walked away he said "mom, I forgot to tell Santa what Kaylee wanted!". He's so funny! The kids each got a gift card for Toys R Us from Santa so we headed over there when we were done. Tyler had a hard time choosing what he wanted to get, but finally decided on a Diego toy. We saved Kaylee's for another day.

Waiting in line to see Santa

Don't you just want to kiss those cheeks!!??

Check this out.....click on the link below....Happy Holidays!

Check-ups

Tyler 3 years old, Kaylee 4 months old
Yesterday both kids went for their check-ups at the doctor. Kaylee's up to 14lbs. 13 oz. at 4 months and in the 75th percentile and 24 1/2 in. long in the 55%. The doctor took one look at her chubby checks and said I know she's healthy!haha! Tyler was 32 lbs. in the 75% and 39 inches in the 95%....wow! We knew he had gone through a growth spurt, but didn't realize he was so tall for his age. I'm not sure where that comes from! Both kids are doing great....knock on wood...we've all been healthy so far this winter.

It's been awhile since we've update things on here...let's see...we had a nice Thanksgiving. It was great to see all of our family and Tyler had a ball playing all weekend with his cousins from Cincinnati. Grandpa and Grandma Mora were here the week before Thanksgiving and we had a nice visit with them. We celebrated Christmas with them while they were here. We got a Wii from them and have been having lots of fun playing it since. Tyler is getting really good! Joe celebrated his 30th birthday in November. We had a party with all of our friends and family at our house. We had lots of good food and cake and then Joe and his friends played poker until the wee hours of the night. He had fun! We're now counting down the days until Christmas. Tyler is so excited this year and wants everything he sees on TV. We go to see Santa this Saturday, so we'll post some pictures of that later. Kaylee's doing great...growing like crazy and so much fun! I guess that's all for now :)

Tyler and his new castle. Here he is working on coloring it. He does a little everyday in between playing....he's getting there:)

Trying to roll over....so close, but no there yet!

All bundled up and looking so cute in her new snowsuit and hat:)

This is Kaylee's new favorite. She thinks she's hot stuff in the walker!

Halloween Party, Pumpkin Carving, and More...

Tyler loves his sister. He's always helping strap her into her bouncy seat. As you can see from the expression on her face, she loves him too! All he has to do is walk by and she smiles and laughs. It's too cute to watch :)

Our sweet baby girl! She's always smiling :)

We carved our pumpkins Thursday night. Tyler had fun putting the faces on some too. They turned out really cute. Goofball! We had a Halloween Party at our friend's house last Friday. All the kids dressed up in their costumes and trick-or-treated around the house to all the moms. We played, did a couple crafts, ate lunch, and got lots of good treats. The kids all had a great time!

Tyler's 3rd Birthday!

Tyler's 3rd Birthday was yesterday. It's hard to believe our little boy is already three years old! He decided to have a Batman party this year. He got lots of great presents!! I think they will keep him busy for weeks!

Pumpkin Patch

Here are some photos from the Rader's Pumpkin Farm. We headed out last weekend on Saturday. The sun was finally shining and it was pretty nice out, so we decided to head out and play for awhile and pick out our pumpkins.

Tyler's 1st Day of School

Tyler started school today. He's in a class with 2-3 year olds. There is only 4 kids in his class...3 boys and 1 girl...and he was the only one there on the first day. All of the other kids were sick today, so it was just Tyler. He had fun anyways. He got to meet his teacher, play for awhile and have a snack. Hopefully the other kids are back next week and he'll have more fun.
