We're Back!!

We've had a busy couple of weeks, so it's been awhile since our last post. We've had lots of family in town visiting and many fun things going on. I've posted a few pics of what we've been up to the last couple of weeks. Enjoy!

You just never know what Tyler will put on as we are leaving the house these days. This day he chose this goofy looking cowboy hat! Another day his outfit was complete with his snoopy hat and Barney slippers. He's quite a character!!

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday!

Tyler's Grandpa and Grandma Mora visited and we celebrated Christmas.....yes, all those presents are for Tyler :-)


One of Tyler's favorite gifts is this Diego Rescue Center.

We went to see Winnie the Pooh Live at the Colliseum with our playgroup friends from the summer. Tyler loved it!! (None of my pictures turned out too well!)

Happy Halloween!!

Tyler's costume was a dog this year. He really didn't want to wear anything, but we got him to keep it on for a little while. He loved going trick-or-treating. He ran from house to house collecting candy. He made it for two blocks and then was ready to come home and help daddy hand-out candy to all the kids.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Tyler!!

Yesterday was Tyler's 2nd Birthday! We can't believe he's already two-years-old! He's turned into such a BIG BOY! One of his favorite things to say is "I do it all by myself". He was so excited for his party. He got tons of new toys and a whole new winter wardrobe. He loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to him....he had been sitting by his cake all afternoon waiting for his party to begin!

We had been practicing blowing out candles for a couple of months...so he was a pro!

Tyler got a fish from his cousin Emily...he loves it! He's named it Pablo (from the Backyardigan's).

This is one of his favorite new toys. It's a roller coaster! I think he's rode it a million times already. I'll be fun in the basement this winter until we can take it outside next summer. Wheeeee!!!

Last weekend we went to the Fall Festival at Niepagen's. Tyler got to paint a pumpkin, play games, and decorate a cookie. Here are some pics we took while we were there.

Tyler's favorite place to go these days is McDonald's. If you ask him what he wants to eat, he'll say "Old McDonald's".

Last night, we decided to make some Halloween cupcakes. Tyler loves to help out with stuff like this....and make a mess :) His favorite part was licking the beaters and sticking his fingers in the frosting. Of course, he's only is his diaper again because he still loves to go around with no clothes on!

Tyler and Brady spotted them on the table right away the next morning and insisted on eating one right away. Notice they're sitting on the kitchen floor because they're soooo messy! :)

Sleep Over

Tyler's cousin Emily stayed over on Saturday night. They had alot of fun!

We finally got a new family picture taken this weekend. The last one we had was from when Tyler was only 4 weeks old! Check them out....not too bad:-)

More bubbles, please!

Tyler finally likes to have bubbles in his bath. For some reason, he would always freak out when we would put bubbles in his bath and refuse to get in. I guess he had some kind of fear of bubbles. Well....he likes them in his bath now and says "more bubbles, please" (he now thinks that if he puts "please" along with any statement, he'll get his way...it's too funny!!)

Labor Day Weekend

We started our long weekend out Friday night at McD's. Tyler loves playing in the play area there! Saturday we just hung out at home and did a little shopping. Sunday we headed over to Peoria and went to the zoo. Forgot my camera, so no pics of the zoo. I bought a disposable camera, but can't figure out how to get them scanned in so I can post them. Oh well! It was alot of fun....Tyler loves seeing the animals. There was an area with a pony that you could get really close to and we had to go back and visit several times (Tyler's kind of had an obsession with cows, horses, and ponies for awhile now!) Tyler (and Joe) both took naps in the car while I got to do some shopping at the mall. We then headed down by the river to check out all the boats and there was a great playground area that he had lots of fun on. Monday we went to the Labor Day parade. It was really hot and really long! Tyler enjoyed it, but the bands were a little too loud and too close for him...not too excited about getting the candy this year, but I'm sure that will change.
